Dear all,
It is a pleasure and an honour to write these words as President of ADECAT. I would like to welcome you to our new website, which will undoubtedly enable us to take a significant step forward in positioning our organisation as a leading voice in Catalonia’s bar turning and machining industry, while showcasing Catalonia’s industrial business network to the world.
The association’s activities have expanded in recent years with the aim of providing better services and support to our members. This growth has enabled us to welcome more companies and establish a direct channel of communication with the public authorities.
One of the fundamental pillars of this project is undoubtedly training, through which we are developing a skilled workforce for both the present and the future. We provide companies in the sector with an innovative, high-quality Dual Vocational Education and Training programme, recognised by the Alianza para la FP Dual as the best collaborative practice in Spain. One of our greatest achievements has been bringing together all the stakeholders involved —students, teaching staff, educational institutions, public authorities, manufacturers and suppliers— to create a strategic alliance under the ADECAT umbrella.
In keeping with our commitment to continuous improvement, we have given new momentum to the Catalan Bar Turning and Machining Congress, now known as DecoMeeting. This enables us to serve as Catalonia’s leading platform for knowledge transfer and insight into the sector’s latest market trends.
We will continue to implement the strategic plan designed by the Board of Directors in order to successfully achieve the objectives we have set. Industry is changing at a remarkable pace, and at ADECAT we want to support companies throughout this journey. We therefore encourage them to participate actively, based on the belief that bringing companies together enriches our collective knowledge.
