Can Bonastre Wine Resort in Masquefa (Barcelona), at the foot of Montserrat, will host a new edition of Decomeeting, the leading event for the bar turning and machining industry.
This year, the congress will be divided into three main sections: the first will focus on future trends in the medical and automotive sectors; the second on techniques and technologies for improving productivity; and the third on new applications for the metal industry.
How are bar turning and machining evolving in the medical and automotive sectors? What role will new tools and technologies, such as 3D printing, play? How will additive manufacturing influence production processes? And, within the automotive sector in particular, how will the rise of electric vehicles affect the manufacture of components? These are some of the questions that will be addressed in the first section of Decomeeting 2019.

The areas represented will include precision carbide and diamond tools, machine tools, clamping and gripping technologies, and lubrication for industrial applications.
